What a celebration. 💚 Thank you to everyone who joined us at @hollywooddistillery to celebrate 10 years of Project Ropa.

What started with a clothing rack has grown into a movement powered by volunteers who keep showing up, supporters who keep believing, and a community that knows clothing and dignity go hand in hand.

Over the past decade, Project Ropa has diverted more than 300 tons of clothing from landfills and put 1.2 million garments directly into the hands of people experiencing homelessness and hygiene insecurity. That impact is possible because of the incredible community behind us.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our anniversary celebration so special. Together, we raised more than $3,000 and unlocked a $3,000 matching gift from our Board, doubling the impact of your generosity and support. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey and to our incredible supporters who continue to believe in Project Ropa and our mission. Here’s a look back at a very special day.

The Golden Arrow Award is the highest honor given by the @calpsc presented each year at the CRRA Conference, to the organization that best exemplifies excellence across every category CPSC tracks: waste prevention, reuse, and closing the loop on materials.

It`s judged by the people who know this work best, leaders across California`s recycling, product stewardship, and sustainability sectors. That`s what makes it different from something we`d say about ourselves. Our peers looked at ten years of our sorting records and diversion numbers and told us we`re doing this right.
