Today, we honor the histories, cultures, and ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples.
We also recognize that the legacy of displacement and systemic inequities continues to shape housing access—Native/Indigenous communities are disproportionately impacted by homelessness. We’re committed to serving everyone with dignity and learning from Native-led voices and organizations year-round.
Service Update: Our warehouse and service sites are closed today in observance of the holiday. We’ll reopen tomorrow with regular hours.
If you’re able, take a moment to learn about the Indigenous nations on whose land we live and work, and consider supporting local Native-led groups.

👕💛 Clothing Is Essential 💛👕
Food, water, shelter… and clothing. In most places, it’s illegal to be in public without clothes—yet in California, clothing still isn’t classified as an essential good. That gap hurts: without clean, well-fitting clothes and basic hygiene, people face huge barriers to housing screenings, job interviews, and everyday safety.
At Project Ropa, our Mobile Clothing Closet and Grab-and-Go programs offer free, dignified access to clothing and hygiene, enabling neighbors to show up for housing, work, and life.
🧼🧥 Clean clothing isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline.
