At Project Ropa, we believe clothing is more than fabric. For ten years, we have run LA County`s only mobile walk-in clothing closet, meeting people experiencing homelessness where they are with clean clothes, hygiene essentials, and dignity.

Our warehouse in Gardena, our mobile closet on the road, and our Community Clothing and Hygiene Bank all work toward one mission: restoring dignity while reducing textile waste.

Ten years in, we are just getting started. 💙

A huge thank you to @bombas for their incredible generosity and continued support of Project Ropa. 🧦❤️

Last month, Bombas donated 7,750 pairs of socks to Project Ropa, helping us provide an essential item to thousands of people in our community.

Socks may seem like a small thing, but they are one of the most requested items we distribute. Clean, comfortable socks help keep feet warm, dry, and protected. For someone experiencing homelessness, having a fresh pair can make a meaningful difference in comfort, health, and dignity.

We are so grateful to Bombas for continuing to show up for Project Ropa and for the people we serve. Partnerships like this allow us to meet real needs with care and dignity.

One of those commitments has always been visible, out on the street. The other has been quieter, built shift by shift in a warehouse, with a lot less recognition.
