🎆 Holiday Closure Notice 🎆
In observance of the Fourth of July, our service sites and warehouse will be CLOSED on Thursday, 7/4 and Friday, 7/5. 🇺🇸
We’re giving our hardworking team a much-deserved break to relax and enjoy the holiday. 💛
Regular operations will resume the following week.

You don’t need perfect words to make an impact—just a little kindness and the will to show up. 💛
Every pair of shoes, every clean shirt we hand out is a reminder that dignity can be restored, one act at a time.
Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep speaking kindness—loud and clear. 🧦👕

👕 What Happens to the Clothes We Throw Away?
Every year, the average American tosses 81 pounds of clothing — most of it ends up in landfills or gets burned. Only a small fraction is recycled, and even less reaches the people who truly need it.
At @projectropa, we’re changing that. ♻️✨
Through our Mobile Hygiene Service, we give quality clothing a second life — and restore dignity and confidence to those experiencing homelessness.
👟 Got clothes you no longer wear?
Let them make a difference.

👕💛 Clothing is a Basic Human Need 💛👕
According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, physiological needs—like food, water, shelter, and clothing—are the foundation for everything else: safety, stability, confidence, and the ability to thrive.
Yet, unlike food and shelter, clothing is not classified as essential by the government. That means millions of people experiencing homelessness or economic hardship are left without access to clean, well-fitting clothing—putting their health, safety, and dignity at risk.
At Project Ropa, we’re working to change that. Through our mobile clothing closet and community clothing and hygiene bank, we provide what’s too often overlooked: the clothing people need to move forward.
🧼🧦 Because when someone has clean clothes that fit, it’s not just about appearance—it’s about restoring dignity and opening doors to jobs, housing, and hope.

Today, we honor Juneteenth — a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward justice and equity. On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Juneteenth is not just a historic milestone — it’s a call to reflect, learn, and continue the work of building a more just and inclusive future.
